All members of St. Michael’s are invited to a special Misa on Sunday, December 11, at 1:00 pm to celebrate The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. A potluck convivio, or special meal, will be held immediately following the Misa. Please meet in the Gallery where the procession will begin.
We will celebrate both the Feast of All Saints and la Fiesta de Todos los Santos over the next two Sundays. On October 30, our Spanish-speaking congregation will commemorate the their faithful departed with special prayers and the decorating of the Altar de los Muertos. Two weeks later, on November 6, the English-language morning services will celebrate the Feast of All Saints.
The Day of Pentecost, also called WhitSunday, is this coming Sunday, June 5. Pentecost is celebrated on the 50th day (the seventh Sunday) from Easter Sunday and commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem. I

We could be quite busy at our Holy Week services beginning with Maundy Thursday tonight. Please remember that we may park after 5:00 pm on the right-hand side (west side) of the Liebert & Liebert Accountants lot, 4300 NE Broadway, and in the Broadway Medical Clinic lot. We may park on both sides of the Liebert building in the clinic lot on Sunday.
The Triduum—the Great Three Days—begins tonight with the Maundy Thursday liturgy. In the setting of the Last Supper, Jesus gives his disciples a way to remember him and his ministry—the Eucharist, and he models servant leadership by washing their feet.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, and we will offer three services on Ash Wednesday this year. On March 3, there will be services at noon, 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
A memorial service for Mickey Harnage will be held on Saturday, February 19, at 2:00 pm at St. Michael’s. Chris Craun will preside, and the service will be livestreamed. Mickey’s request was that people NOT wear black to her service. She wanted it to be a true celebration of life!
