Just Breathe
Be reminded to breathe. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. Lower your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Breathe in. Breathe out.
Be reminded to breathe. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. Lower your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. Breathe in. Breathe out.
This moment, no matter how dark or
how long,
Can’t make us belong to one another less.
And not one single thing in all creation
Can separate us from God’s love.

Remind us that there is an essential, holy, un-hurtable part of ourselves that never tires, that does not know fear, that is un-affected by other people, that cannot be irritated, that has nothing to achieve.
I feel the tension, the edge, the uncertainty, the wonder of, ‘What next, God?’

“We must dissent from the fear, the hatred, and the mistrust. We must dissent from a nation that buried its head in the sand waiting in vain for the needs of its poor, its elderly, and its sick to disappear and just blow away. We must dissent from a government that has left its young without jobs, education, or hope.”
