Dear Ones,
This week, I have been a participant in the Virtual Episcopal Latino Ministry Competency Course led in part by Samuel Borbón, who some of you will remember as our associate a few years ago. Overall, I learned that being on Zoom the last five months has trained me for this kind of thing – five hours of Zoom a day for five days in a row AND being part of our community has made me far more competent in Latino Ministry than I may have believed.
Yet, there is always something to learn. In particular, I am thinking more about the presentations on the changing paradigm of Latinx Ministry, bilingual worship challenges, ministry at the border, and strategies for evangelism. I look forward to sharing more as we wrap up this conference tomorrow!
Peace, Chris+
