2024 Commitment Season Updates

Rooted and Grounded in Love is the theme of our 2024 Commitment Season, aka Stewardship Season. The season began on October 15, and each Sunday we’re hearing from our vestry and Team L.I.F.E. members about why and how they pledge. This coming Sunday, November 5, we’ll hear from vestry member Beth Ilem at the 9:00 and 11:00 am services and the 1:00 pm service in Spanish. To read Rector R. Scott Painter’s 2024 stewardship letter, click here.

Below are our goals and updates as of October 31 for this year’s commitment campaign (update#/goal#):

•             $132,263/$625,000 raised
•             49/210 total pledges
•             6/40 new pledges
•             26/25 increased pledges

When you’re in Parish Hall for Coffee Hour, or a reception or other activity, please take a look at the stewardship “tree” in the Parish Hall. Each heart represents a pledge received so far. Let’s fill it up with hearts! Sunday, November 12, is our “official” ingathering day. If you haven’t already turned in your pledge card, please bring it to church on that day. We will collect and pray over them during the services. If you haven’t received a pledge card, please let the office know and one can be mailed to you, or check on the wood-slat board in the Gallery for extras.

Also! We now offer fill-in pledge cards for those who would like to turn in a card electronically. Click here for English, and here for Spanish. These submissions will be sent only to Jackie Van Anda, our bookkeeper, and you will receive a confirmation email from the system.

Remember to check the back side of the pledge card for ways to offer your time and talent as well as your financial support!
