Remember

Dear Ones,

Our spring book group just wrapped up this past week after reading How to do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy by Jenny Odell. In her concluding chapter, she quoted Ohlone matriach, Corrina Gould, who had been working to restore a Ohlone ceremonial site in West Berkeley, California. The potential of this opportunity, she writes, is “an opportunity of all of us simply to remember our compassion, conscience and civility, to learn to be human again, together.” I wonder how we all might consider this opportunity to remember. How are you learning to be human again?

Faithfully,
Chris+
