The St. Michael’s music program has some exciting special events coming up in this new year. Please join Ensemble Boulanger in the Nativity Hall on Saturday, January 25, at 4:00 pm for a vocal/piano recital called “A Tour of Eastern Europe.”
All are welcome and encouraged to attend the forum on Sunday, January 12, between the 9:00 and 11:00 am services. Scott+ and Dave Reilly, our treasurer, will present the proposed budget for 2025. They will share the Vestry’s priorities for the new year based on the pledge commitments received and invite input from the congregation.
On Sunday, January 5, we will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany. This holiday marks the day the Magi, or the three kings, who followed a star to visit the baby Jesus in Bethlehem. Our services today are 7:30 and 10:00 am ONLY. We will join as one community for the 10:00 service, which will be bilingual.

Las Posadas commemorates the journey that Joseph and Mary undertook in search of a safe refuge where Mary could give birth to the baby Jesus. The Posadas will run from Monday, December 16, to Monday, December 23.
Christmas is nearly upon us! Celebrate the season in all its comforting glory by coming to our Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols this Sunday at 5:00 pm. On Christmas Eve, you can look forward to hearing our young Choristers at the 4:00 pm family service. The Saints & Singers Choir will lead at 6:00 pm, along with “O Holy Night” sung by professional soloists.
Our Advent journey is now turning into the wonder of Christmas. Let’s keep walking together. While all the details are further down in this email, I want to say a little bit about the coming opportunities to gather and pray.

We wish you all a healthy, happy and blessed Christmas season. With joy, we invite all to our worship services with music and Holy Eucharist on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
On Saturday, December 21, at 5:00 pm, we will come together to celebrate The Longest Night Service. We will remember loved ones who have died and also reflect on the pain, loneliness and sadness we may feel that may keep us from joy and the fullness of life.
