St. Michael’s choir season ends this Pentecost Sunday with all three ensembles featured. The St. Michael’s Singers will lead the 9am service, with the Saints & Singers and Choristers joining forces at 11am. We thank all three choirs for an incredibly meaningful season of top notch music-making and liturgical leadership week in and week out. They’ll return to regular programming in September after a refreshing summer off.
But wait! Sunday is not the last you’ll hear from our choir members this season. Join us for Broadway Night, the only fundraiser for St. Michael’s music ministry, on May 29 or 30. You might be groaning “Ugh, not that again. All I hear is Broadway Night this or Broadway Night that.” First of all, it is THE entertainment of the year at St. Michael’s. You seriously don’t want to miss it! All you have to do is show up, (spend $30 on a ticket), and relax into a pew. Choir members have been working since September to memorize music and choreography from a variety of musical theatre shows, including large ensemble numbers, solos, duets, and trios. For the price of your ticket you’ll also get access to our exclusive silent auction, as well as wine and desserts. The best part? You’ll be supporting our beloved music ministry, whose operating costs is nowhere near covered by our annual budget. If you enjoy and value the level of music-making you hear every week at St. Michael’s, please come and support us at Broadway Night as we thank YOU with an awe-inspiring show to wrap up the program year.
