Sunday’s 10am service will feature a mix of hymns designated for the 5th Sunday after Pentecost as well as for Independence Day. We will sing the now classic hymn “This is my song” to the tune Finlandia, which poignantly proclaims: “My country’s skies are bluer than the ocean, and sunlight beams on cloverleaf and pine. But other lands have sunlight too, and clover, and skies are ev’rywhere as blue as mine. So hear my song, O God of all the nations, a song of peace for their land and for mine.” Thank you to Bob Spiers for filling in on organ while Hannah is busy preparing to get married on July 3!
