At 10am this Sunday our summer choir of volunteers will sing an anthem by the late Stephen Paulus (1949-2014), with Brian Fairbanks on flute. Brian has prepared some Bach flute solos for the prelude and postlude as well. What a treat to have such a variety of singers and soloists this summer!

If you’re feeling like you need a little extra music and prayer on Sunday, head over to Trinity Episcopal Cathedral at 5pm for Choral Evensong led by Cantores in Ecclesia, of which Hannah Brewer is a member, presented by the William Byrd Festival. Let the gorgeous choral music of Byrd and Tallis wash over you during this familiar and meditative Anglican service. Come early at 4:15pm for a free organ recital on “The English Organ,” offered by Byrd Festival Artistic Director Mark Williams from Magdalen College, Oxford, England.
