Youth Group May 1

This Youth Group gathering is actually happening THIS Sunday, May 1. All youth in middle and high school are invited to come to the Parish Hall on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. The youth leadership is encouraging all youth to attend in order to participate in a Listening Session. The Profile Committee wants to hear from all parishioners, including our youth!

Grief Circles Invitation

Grief is an isolating yet common experience. To speak to this and to find some sense of healing, we’re holding three grief circles during the month of May, co-hosted by Rev. Julia and various members of our parish. At this time, all sessions will be held at the church and in-person.

Bishop’s Visitation on May 1

On Sunday, May 1, we welcome Bishop Diana Akiyama to St. Michael’s. Bishop Diana will preach and preside at the 9:00 and 11:00 am services, and the Rev. Sherman Hesselgrave will assist. She will also preside and preach (with translation help) at the 1:00 pm service. Padre Beto will assist. We have several young people who will be confirmed at the morning services, and one member will be received into the Episcopal Church at the 11:00 am service.

Music News: Broadway Night!

This year, Broadway Night is happening live and in-person – and livestreamed – on Friday and Saturday evenings, June 3 & 4, 2022. This year’s theme is Spread the Love Around, and there will be two acts with a dessert intermission. The house will open at 7:00, with a silent auction in the Parish Hall, and the curtain will rise at 7:30.

Parking & other Reminders

We could be quite busy at our Holy Week services beginning with Maundy Thursday tonight. Please remember that we may park after 5:00 pm on the right-hand side (west side) of the Liebert & Liebert Accountants lot, 4300 NE Broadway, and in the Broadway Medical Clinic lot. We may park on both sides of the Liebert building in the clinic lot on Sunday.
