History Sunday, Part IV

The Rev. Dr. Caroline Litzenberger will hold the fourth session in her hybrid History Sunday series—Radicals, Restoration & the American Revolution—this Sunday at 10:15 am. The story continues: How did the church of Elizabeth I in England become the church we know today here in the United States? Come and hear about key developments that influenced this transition, including the disestablishment of the Church of England and its restoration, the creation of the Episcopal Church in the United States, the 20th century liturgical renewal and the changing role of women in the church. The fifth and final session—20th Century Renewal & Episcopalians in the Pacific Northwest—will happen at the same time on Sunday, May 22.

This forum will be available on Zoom (link and other info can be found in your eblast), or you can attend in person in the Parish Hall.
