Thank you to all of our music-making volunteers for making the Christmas and Epiphany services so meaningful! We head into this new season looking forward to our Candlemas Evensong on Sunday, February 2, led by the St. Michael’s Singers, as well as our annual Broadway Night fundraiser for the music program on Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 1. Members of our two adult choirs and youth Choristers are meeting every week to rehearse choreographed ensemble numbers as we prepare to entertain you with music you won’t hear during a typical Sunday morning service. Tickets go on sale next month.

On a more intimate scale, consider coming to hear a vocal and piano recital offered by Ensemble Boulanger (Hannah Brewer and Emma Cowell) on Saturday, January 25, at 4:00 pm. A Tour of Eastern Europe introduces you to several Hungarian, Czech and Polish women composers you may not know, along with well-known favorites like Liszt, Dvořák, and Chopin. The suggested donation amount is $20.
