Advocacy Action Opportunity
Instead of a table with letters to sign, this week, Advocacy Action is requesting members of St. Michael’s to email the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) asking them to deny Zenith Energy’s air-quality permit. Zenith Energy operates an oil-processing and storage facility on the banks of the Willamette River in NW Portland.
Pentecost Liturgy & Potluck in the Park
This year, on Sunday, June 8, we’re going to celebrate the Feast of Pentecost at the park! It will be at the same location as last year—Wilshire Park, Picnic Area C (look for the shelter and decorated tables), in NE Portland—at 11:00 am, rain or shine (or heat!).
Pentecost Art Show & Evensong
St. Michael’s parishioners and friends of the parish are warmly invited to our Pentecost Art Show this Saturday, June 7. The theme of our Pentecost Art Show is “Many & One in the Spirit/ Muchos y Uno, en el Espíritu,” and this show is a celebration of the diverse creative spirit at St. Michael’s.
