Thank you to our wonderful soloists this summer! We got to enjoy small ensembles singing a few anthems (with minimal rehearsal!), Cliff Fairley and Beth Ilem sing a vocal duet, Sherman Hesselgrave and Hannah Brewer play a couple of organ+piano duets, classic flute duets from Brian Fairbanks and Patti Evans, the Misa Coro and instrumentalists at our Parish Picnic, Josh English sing his first sacred music solo, and Emily Geoffroy astound us on clarinet this past Sunday. What a glorious array of musical delights to fill the time until our choirs are back for the season on Sunday, September 11. If you or your child is interested in joining one of our choirs, please reach out to Music Director & Organist Hannah Brewer or Choir Director Brian Fairbanks. Rehearsals for the St. Michael’s Singers starts Wednesday, September 7 at 7pm, with our other choirs to follow.

Meanwhile, many thanks to Bob Spiers for filling in on organ this coming Sunday while Hannah is on vacation and to Cliff for bringing and organizing the Orgelkids organ kit for our youngsters to build and play last Sunday. A fabulous time was had by all!
