Dear Friends,

I’ve just returned from a refreshing time away on vacation. Now, after just two full days in the office, it is time to be on the move again.

Tomorrow, 11 youth, our Summer Intern Frida, two recently graduated (from high school) chaperones, and I will depart for St. Michael’s annual Youth Retreat in Bend. We’ll be there over the coming weekend, enjoying the hospitality of Susie and Geoff Strommer in their lovely home, visiting with old friends (and former youth leader) John and Tia Lidstrom for a pool party at their place, and just going outside as much as possible for adventures, play, service, prayer, and connection.

Please pray for us, that we would be encouraged in faith, strengthened in love, energized for service. Oh – and pray, too, that we’ll have the best time!
