Broadway Night is upon us! Join us in person on Friday or Saturday or watch the livestream (Saturday night only). Doors open to gather in the Parish Hall and gallery at 7pm on June 3 and 4, and the show will start in the sanctuary at 7:30pm. It includes a dessert intermission and lots of goodies to bid on at our silent auction. Don’t have a ticket to Broadway Night? Come on over and buy your ticket at the door on either night. Can’t afford the $35 ticket? Let us know, as we have a few ticket donations to offer. Or watch online for free through our usual channels (STMAA Connection on YouTube, our official Facebook page, OR our website–click on “catch the livestream here”), with donations gratefully accepted through our website: stmaa.org (click the “donate to our ministries” button and choose “Broadway Night donation to music fund”). We encourage mask wearing if attending in person to help protect our performers.
Broadway Night is not the only event happening for our choirs this weekend. Sunday, June 5 is also their final Sunday of the season before a much deserved summer break. The St. Michael’s Singers at 9am and the Saints & Singers Choir at 11am will both be formally commissioned and thanked for their services this past year. At 9am we’ll even be premiering a brand new choral anthem by our own Robert Lockwood written for Pentecost and dedicated to the St. Michael’s Singers and music staff. What an exciting weekend of music-making to round out the choir season!
