What’s Sunday worship like?
There is no wrong way to come to God in prayer; we’re glad you’re here. Sunday services generally last approximately one hour or a little bit longer and include prayers, singing, Bible readings, announcements, Holy Eucharist and a sermon. Some congregants dress up; others wear jeans or shorts. Children are welcome to stay for the service, or they can head downstairs for childcare or Liturgy of the Word. Our Sunday bulletins contain much of what you’ll need to participate in our worship. If you’re unfamiliar with these traditions, you can also simply let the singing and prayers of the community carry you forward.
Is communion served every Sunday?
Yes! Eucharist is at the center of every worship service at St. Michael’s, and all are welcome at the Lord’s Table – no matter your age, your background or where you are on your spiritual journey. Read more about communion in the FAQ area of this website.
