The Profile Committee is busy laying the groundwork for the St. Michael’s Profile they are tasked with creating. The profile, which will be used in the search for our new rector, must describe who we have been in the past, who we are today, and who we dream of being in the future. The committee is looking at profiles used by other Episcopal churches to get ideas about what they want to include. They are also gathering information about our church history, and collecting data about St Michael’s today. In the coming weeks, they will hold small-group Listening Sessions and conduct a congregation-wide survey to learn how we, the members of St. Michael’s, see our church today. They will also ask about our goals and aspirations for the future. The Profile Committee’s timeline is attached here.
