Our annual Broadway Night fundraiser this past weekend was a huge success, thanks to your support and the efforts of numerous volunteers! Over 200 people attended the two shows, and we raised $12,000 after expenses, which goes towards our music discretionary fund to help pay for things like our professional staff singer salaries, Hannah’s upcoming maternity leave organist sub, and any additional music expenses not covered in our annual budget. While the choirs are on their summer break, this Sunday we have baritone Josh English singing an offertory solo at the 9:00 am service from Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah. The harpsichord will be featured at the 11:00 am service with excerpts by Baroque composers Froberger and J.S. Bach. Other soloists will be featured throughout the month of June.
