Choral Evensong
The Feast of St. Cecilia
Sunday, November 23 at 5pm
Please join us this Sunday at 5pm for our Choral Evensong for the Feast of St. Cecilia. St. Cecilia is the patron saint of music and musicians, making her feast day (transferred from November 22) a fitting date to commemorate. Choral music will include works by Orlando Gibbons (for the 400th anniversary of his death), Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, and Herbert Howells (A Hymn for St. Cecilia). A reception will follow in the Parish Hall, graciously sponsored by members of the 7:30am service.
