Good Shepherd Sunday brings us one of J.S. Bach’s most iconic works: Sheep May Safely Graze. Originally composed as a soprano aria, the choir will sing an arrangement in four-part harmony with the text “Flocks in pastures green abiding.” The organ voluntaries at 9:00 am and 11:00 am will also be by Bach, written specifically for the Easter season. The communion anthem continues the theme with Feed My Lambs, which features two flute parts.
