Our Pentecost music this Sunday, May 19, includes a classic arrangement of the African-American spiritual Ev’ry time I feel the spirit and a communion motet composed by our own Robert Lockwood, along with many traditional (at 9:00 am) and non-traditional (at 11:00 am) hymns celebrating the Holy Spirit.
Later on Sunday, at 4:00 pm, please consider returning to St. Michael’s for Brian Fairbanks’ flute, viola and harp recital with The Cathedral Trio, their final performance as an ensemble (rescheduled from January due to the ice storms). Originally formed at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle, the group will play their favorite music by LeClair, Devienne, Piazzola, Foote, Krouse, Censhu and more. Freewill donations will be accepted at the door.
