Upcoming music for Holy Week includes a wide variety of choral repertoire from the English Renaissance to the 21st century. You’ll hear selections by English composers William Byrd (c. 1540-1623) and Henry Purcell (1659-1695) as well as anthems by Canadian composer Stephanie Martin (b. 1962) and American legend Alice Parker (1925-2023), and lots more in between!

All three of our choirs will be participating in Holy Week services, including our St. Michael’s Choristers on Maundy Thursday; the Saints & Singers on Palm Sunday at 11:00 am and the Good Friday evening bilingual service; and the St. Michael’s Singers on Palm Sunday at 9:00 am, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday at noon, the Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday (with the Portland Brass Quintet). What a musical journey it will be!
