All are invited to participate in our remaining Holy Week services! Tonight at 6:30 pm is our bilingual Good Friday service. It will begin in the courtyard and include Stations of the Cross. The St. Michael’s Singers will provide musical leadership.
Tomorrow night, Holy Saturday, March 30, the Great Vigil of Easter will begin in the Church at 8:00 pm. As darkness comes, we will light the Paschal Candle and re-tell ancient stories of God’s love and call to us. We will renew our own baptismal promises in the water of life. With the announcement that the Lord is risen, bells will sound and we will celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter. Music will be led by the St. Michael’s Singers. Light incense will be used at this service. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
On Easter Sunday, March 31, we will celebrate Holy Eucharist at 7:30, 9:00 & 11:00 am. Our Festive Easter Eucharists (at 9 and 11), will include music for the congregation led by the St. Michael’s Singers. The Portland Brass Quintet will join the Singers at 9 and 11, and Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be offered at those services as well as childcare in the lower level. A festive reception in the Parish Hall will follow each service. Santa Eucaristía en español will be offered at 1:00 pm.
