Forum series: “Ask & Imagine”

On Sunday, February 3, Associate Rector James Joiner began a new Forum series – Ask & Imagine – on the use of the imagination in prayer and studying scripture. Our first session will discuss an approach from Avery Brooke’s Healing in the Landscape of Prayer called “the healing of memories.” This technique of healing prayer involves visualization for the use of healing from traumatic experiences in one’s past and can be a gift to one’s self and one’s friends and family. If you’re interested in learning more about this prayer practice, join James in the Nativity Hall at 10:15 am this morning and on February 10 and 24 and March 3. The first step in living into the future we want to see is being able to imagine it!
