The next big music event at St. Michael’s is our Choral Evensong for the Feast of St. Cecilia. St. Cecilia is the patron saint of music and musicians, making her feast day (transferred from November 22) a fitting date to commemorate. Choral music will include works by Orlando Gibbons (for the 400th anniversary of his death), Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, and Herbert Howells (A Hymn to St. Cecilia).
