School-age children are invited to attend Children’s Liturgy of the Word each Sunday – even in the summer! Children leave after the Opening Collect and return to the gathered community at the Peace. Children’s Liturgy meets on the lower level in front of the big mural where we share stories of God’s love in the world drawing on a variety of children’s literature. The children take turns reading an age-appropriate version of the day’s scripture, using Illustrated Ministry’s excellent curriculum, mini-Revolutions. This curriculum along with other enrichment resources for Christian Formation, is sent to families with children/youth (or anyone else who is interested) via email each week.
