Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Kids “in” the Big Mural

Children’s Liturgy of the Word meets in front of the big mural on the lower level at the time of the readings and the sermon during the Sunday morning services at 9 and 11 o’clock. An adult leader from the congregation invites the children to join them after the opening prayers and the children return to their families in the church at the exchange of the Peace. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a time for children to gather to pray, ask questions, learn about the Episcopal traditions and hear the good news of God’s love in language that is developmentally appropriate for young school age children.
