Advocacy Action will be in the Gallery this Sunday, January 12, at 10:15 am with letters to our representatives and senators, welcoming them to the 119th Congress and asking them to be especially mindful of the vulnerable people in our society as they do their work. This includes people living in poverty or without immigration status; those with crushing medical debt or those living in fear due to their sexual orientation or gender identity or expression; those who may be targeted by racial discrimination or violence; and those who will suffer the most from environmental degradation. Everyone is a child of God, and so we follow the call of Christ to raise our voices for and with them.
