From the earliest days of the Church, Christians have turned to the saints as companions in prayer, inviting us into this shared rhythm of weekly prayer, grounding us in God’s presence and in the great communion of saints. We move deeper into a pattern of prayer throughout the week, following the rites of morning and evening prayer, and learning from the stories of saints of resistance, who gave their lives to the work of mercy, justice, and liberation in their times and places.
