Two of our adult choirs held their annual choir retreat last Saturday where they sang, danced, and ate together. They even started rehearsing for Broadway Night (May 29 and 30, 2026), as seen in the photo above.
The first major music event of the season is coming up on Sunday, September 28 at 5pm. The St. Michael’s Singers present a Choral Evensong for the Feast of St. Michael & All Angels. The evening canticles will be sung in Spanish, while the anthem (in Latin) is by Vicente Lusitano, a mixed-race composer from the 16th century, considered by scholars to be the first published black composer.
