Music for April 30

On Sunday, April 30, Sherman Hesselgrave will join Hannah in delighting us with two piano/organ duets for his final Sunday as interim! Make sure you don’t miss the prelude–a piano duet arrangement of Bach’s famous Sheep May Safely Graze (for Good Shepherd Sunday!)–or the postlude–another well-known Baroque work called the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba. Sherman also specially picked out an anthem for the choir (to be sung at communion) that is meaningful to him, with words by the poet e.e. cummings. We have been so blessed to learn from Sherman and be introduced to new hymns and styles that he has acquired from his varied church positions. We’ll miss his steady presence and humor.
