The Godly Play 2/Kids Connection has begun a new series for 2nd- through 5th-grade students called Shining Hearts Ministry: Fostering young peacemakers through sacred stories, community service and deepening our understanding of the Abrahamic Faith traditions. The first three-part sessions was a focus on Judaism in February. Christianity is happening now, during the season of Lent, and Part 3 (Islam) will be offered on April 28 and May 5 and 19. Classes will be co-led by Leslie Sackett and guest teacher, Catie Macauley, a St. Michael’s youth with a passion for inter-faith education as a foundation for peace in our world.
