All are invited and encouraged to attend our worship in the park and parish picnic on Sunday, July 31, at 10:00 am. It will be held in Wilshire Park at NE 33rd and Skidmore near the covered area, which is in the middle of the park close to the playground. Click here for a map. This will be the only service for St. Michael’s on that Sunday! Your vestry members are hosting the picnic and will provide the main and side dishes (think Hawaiian!) as well as utensils and plates. You’re welcome to bring a dessert to share if you’d like, and you should definitely bring your own chairs and/or a blanket to sit on.

This service will be bilingual and led by the Revs. Beto Arciniega and Sherman Hesselgrave, and Rev. Julia Nielsen. We also understand that there will be a Misa wedding celebrated during the service! What a great way to support this couple as they begin their married life together.

We hope you all will attend this worship service and picnic. It’s a wonderful opportunity for all of us to be together in one space – worshipping, singing, playing and enjoying a meal!
