All are welcome for another Friday night movie, this one showing on March 16. St. Michael’s movie buff Hans Carter is screening the 2016 documentary “Accidental Courtesy” in the Nativity Hall at 7:00 pm.

“How can you hate me if you don’t even know me?” Daryl Davis is a professional musician with a peculiar pastime. Davis, who is black, befriends members of the Ku Klux Klan in an effort to listen to why they believe what they believe and to get to know them personally. Over the last 28 years, Davis has inspired nearly 30 members of the Klan to disavow the organization and turn their robes over to him. Unfortunately, in this time of racial and political turmoil, Davis is a rather controversial figure in the black community, which does not understand or agree with his mission. There will be a short discussion following the film.
