The Monday Book group chose Alice Scannell’s new book, Radical Resilience: When There’s No Going Back to the Way Things Were for their March study. The group discussed this short book amongst themselves on March 12 and found it immensely helpful. Alice herself plans to join the group on March 26 to share, answer questions and deepen the discussion.
Following that, the group will read and discuss Frederik Backman’s My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry on April 9. This is a funny, heartwarming and meaningful novel about family and community relationships told from the point of view of the seven-year-old granddaughter.
