All are welcome for our annual candlelit service of Lessons & Carols, happening on Saturday, December 16, at 7:00 pm, with music led by the St. Michael’s Singers.

This is a beautiful, traditional service from the 19th century featuring scripture readings, carols, and anthems for the Advent and Christmas seasons. The St. Michael’s Singers, led by Choir Director Brian Fairbanks, will sing choral works by 20th century composers Moses Hogan and Elizabeth Poston, contemporary composers Morten Lauridsen and Ola Gjeilo, as well as lesser-known English and French carols in classic arrangements by David Willcocks and R.R. Terry, plus plenty of familiar hymns celebrating the birth of Jesus. A festive reception will follow the service.
