Lent is an excellent time to try one or both of our two services offered on Wednesdays. All are welcome for either or both. Our Wednesday Eucharist at 12:00 noon is a great way to center yourself in prayer in the middle of the week, and at about a half hour long, it can be a great way to spend your lunch break. We have a brief discussion about the Gospel reading for the day and share the prayers we have for our families and world before receiving communion in this simple service.
In addition, each Wednesday night, from September to June, members of our choir, the St. Michael’s Choristers and the wider community gather to chant Evening Prayer at 6:30 pm. This service involves some contemplative silence mixed in with plainsong chant. If you’ve never sung your prayers in this way, you can let the choir members guide you or simply listen to this centering and peaceful service.
